We were quite fortunate to adopt Indiana, "Indie" 6 yrs ago for our teenage daughter Maggie who is now a sophmore in college and Indie is now 8. What a splendid member of our family Indie is. We have always had dogs as companions but Indie ranks right up there as the sweetest and definitely smartest. Thank you for brightening our lives!

Mona - My parents adopted Mona in the Fall of 2007, a few months after losing their beloved American Eskimo. Since then she has become such a wonderful addition to the whole family that we can't imagine life without her.
Her intelligence, willingness to please and extremely loving nature continue to amaze and enrich our lives everyday.
Thank you Jeri for all the great work you do in helping these wonderful animals find suitable homes.

I only knew Bandit for a short time because he belonged to my Fiance's sister Serena. Serena and Bandit Live in Florida, we live in Maine and we had gone down for a brief visit. During that visit I had the pleasure of meeting Bandit, and what a pleasure it was, he was such a great spirit that I fell in love with him instantly. It was very clear to anyone the love that was shared between Serena and Bandit. I won't say owner and pet because they were more friends and companions. Bandit will be in our our hearts forever and truly missed. Say hello to Maggie for me Bandit..she was a wonderful spirit just like you. May you both rest in peace.

I have a great sister, "Serena Bishop" that did some fostering for you.Because of this she was able to be a part of helping one of your dogs in particular. That dog would be a Border Collie Named "BANDIT". The best part is that not only did Serena impact Bandits life, but Bandit had a big impact on Serena and many other people's lives. Unfortunately Bandit has now moved on because his body was not able to keep up with his Spirit. But he will live on through Serena and all the other people he touched during his time with us. You will forever be missed and never be forgotten. R.I.P. Old Friend...

Bandit – my wonderful grand-dog. My daughter Serena Bishop adopted Bandit in 2000 but he is no longer with us. He did have his quirks but he made us laugh and everyone loved him. He had been neglected but Serena taught him love and he loved her back to no end. He was always there for her. He lived a good life with Serena. Even when I got a cat, who did not like Bandit invading his home, Bandit just took the cat in stride whenever they came to visit. Bandit was a good grand-dog and we will miss him lots. In loving memory a big hug from your grandma Bandit.

I was a volunteer in late 1999 I fostered Bandit (was 4 years of age at the time) in early 2000 and could not give him up, so I adopted him in March 2000. I selected him by asking who needed the most attention and work to be adopted. Bandit had been neglected and abused along with returned due to his many issues - examples: deathly scared of storms, chased shadows, etc. He definitely was a one of a kind, as they all are overall. Unfortunately his age caught up with him (getting ready to turn 15) and I had to put him down last week. We tried surgery, but it was just too much for him. It was very difficult and he is and will be missed greatly. He gave me so much and I only hope I gave him just as much in return.
In loving memory - my Bandit boy RIP!
Thank you for allowing me the opportunity and time with you - you became my best friend and much, much more!
Love always!
